Everyone who owns a business and advertises on social media, all they want is to beat the algorithm. To be able to maximize their sales at the lowest possible cost, to attract as many people as possible, to fill as many forms as possible.
But is it easy? It is certainly not easy, but it is not impossible.
In an attempt to understand the algorithm below we present 4 facts about how the algorithm works for users.
Record
We should keep in mind that Facebook keeps track of the content that appears in our feed. This includes the posts of the pages, friends and groups we follow.
Evaluation
Facebook then evaluates the content we receive and how we react to it. Whether we like or comment on content and much more, including the time we react to each piece of content.
Forecasts
After recording and evaluation, Facebook has the ability to make predictions for each account. It has the ability to predict what we like and display it to us. For example, if a user interacts enough with a post, Facebook will take it as a sign that the user likes that content.
What is the score
Finally, Facebook keeps a score for each post that appears to each user individually and based on this score Facebook will offer the user the post with the best possible content provided that they interact with it.
That’s the way the algorithm thinks and if you can think like the algorithm you can beat it. This way we can offer the best possible result to our customer. Contact us so we can increase your social media presence.
